Experience the Benefits of Holistic Healthcare

We practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, a holistic medical system that has improved the quality of life for billions of people for over 5,000 years.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Healthcare Treatment

This treatment includes a thorough intake about your health history, current complaint, asking the “ten questions” (actually more than ten questions, but we will cover all of your body systems to get a complete holistic view of you. This leads to a holistic health care plan from a TCM viewpoint) checking your pulse and tongue. Although most people have a certain health concern when coming in for this treatment, some come in as a preventative consult. We still will go through the “ten questions” along with pulse and tongue diagnosis to gather a treatment that will be preventative to future possible illness. TCM holds at its core that disease is caused by imbalances in the energy channels of the body, these can be easily affected by lifestyle, dietary intake and emotional stress.

This treatment is tailored specifically to each individual. Acupuncture, herbal treatment, supplements, dietary consult, tuina massage, acupressure, aromatherapy, electro-stimulation, cupping, gua-sha, moxibustion/TDP lamp are all possible treatment methods.

Relaxing & Revitalizing Acupuncture Treatment

Pulse diagnosis and evaluation

Aromatherapy, 3 deep breaths to center you before treatment with acupuncture.

Acupuncture (points are added according to pulse diagnosis, balancing effect is desired)
5 minutes of Massage on the head, this is to melt your hard working jaw, forehead and smile muscles into deep relaxation. Now is when we stimulate the important relaxing and revitalizing ear acupuncture points that can take your stress level down a few calming notches (these affect the whole body).

20 min grounding Tuina Foot massage:
This massage is focused on relaxing the calf muscles, which in turn will ease tension on the tendons of the foot. Channel work is done from the lower leg to the tips of the toes, to create space and better circulation of blood, interstitial fluid and qi through the feet.

Facial Rejuvenation

This treatment is to rejuvenate the face. It is still a holistic treatment because points will still be added to balance out your particular TCM diagnosis. The focus of the treatment will be to brighten the eye, lift the eyebrows, sculpt the cheekbones and jaw line and reduce wrinkles. First you will be given homeopathic arnica. Then I will check your tongue and pulse. I will give you a grounding flower essence and clean your face with helichrysum hydrosol. Acupuncture points will be needled to ground you as well as balance out the bodies channels. Then acupuncture points will be inserted into the face and scalp. After they are taken out I will once again clean your face and add a thin layer of vitamin E oil.

This treatment takes 1.5 hrs. One round of treatment is recommended, which depending on face is 10 to 12 treatments, once a week for 12 weeks, or twice a week for 6 weeks.

$150.00

(90 min treatment length)

Low-level light therapy: $30.00

Deep Foot and Leg Treatment

This treatment focuses on the lower leg and feet. We spend so much time with our feet in shoes, literally binding them. Our feet have 26 bones, 33 joints and more than a hundred muscles, tendons and ligaments. Imagine what happens to someones arm that is left in a sling for a month to heal a broken bone. The arm looks skinny, lack of muscle definition and weak. Our feet are squished in shoes that don’t allow for proper blood flow, nerve conduction and strength of our muscles. This treatment is aimed to help separate the toes from one another, create room for proper nerve and blood flow. This treatment will stretch and massage leg muscles that insert into the foot. A mixture of acupressure along channels/meridians of the leg, acupuncture, and Tuina massage will be combined to leave your legs and feet feeling revitalized and refreshed.

Treatment:

  • 15 minute Tuina massage on each leg and foot.
  • 30 minutes of acupuncture
  • 5 minutes of stretching the calf muscles and foot
  • 5 minutes of light Tuina massage on foot and calf, to just feel good!

Microneedling

Microneedling is a procedure that promotes facial health and rejuvenation by stimulating the skin’s natural healing process. We use a dermapen, which is equipped with tiny needles, to create controlled micro-injuries on the surface of the skin. We also add serums while needling for increased effectiveness. These micro-injuries trigger the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins responsible for maintaining our skin’s firmness, elasticity, and youthful appearance. This can lead to improved skin texture, diminished fine lines and wrinkles, reduced acne scars, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, and an overall more radiant and youthful appearance. After the procedure, the treated area may appear slightly red and feel slightly tender, similar to a mild sunburn. These effects typically subside within a day or two, and most individuals can resume their regular activities with minimal downtime. To diminish redness and tenderness our treatments include low level light therapy.
